Winnipeg Rifles 39 vs Edmonton Wildcats 0

The Rifles defence pitched a shutout holding the Wildcats offence to 111 yards and only 66 on the ground. They forced four turnovers and even added to the scoring when Carson Cadieux blocked a punt, picked up the loose ball and rushed 12 yards for a touchdown.

The offence was led by running back Kaiden Banfield who rushed 27 times for 148 yards and scored three touchdowns to secure the Rifles second win of the campaign.

This weekend the Rifles (2-4) will host the Edmonton Huskies (3-3) and the Wildcats (0-6) will search for answers when they host the Calgary Colts (2-4).
